When the steel supports for the 3D printed screen were installed over 2’ out of position, KHS&S had to design, fabricate, and install an entirely new structural support system. Sixth Eye was brought in as a trusted collaborative partner to execute on prefabrication and installation control strategy and developed new automation to generate fabrication drawings and full-scale templates within an expedited timeline. We provided layout points and documentation, as well as repurposing existing custom survey tools to help guide and validate installation. Our team also provided field support onsite, providing additional model information and field support on demand to resolve issues as they arose. Our digital-to-physical workflow and control allowed this project to get back on schedule.

This project brought together inspired design, advanced fabrication, complex geometry, and carefully controlled installation.
